The Consorzio Vini di Romagna will be one of the players at the 55th edition of Vinitaly in Verona (2-5 April), the most important international event dedicated to the world of oenology.
The Consorzio will organise initiatives and events to talk about the wines of Romagna through master classes featuring international guests.

On Sunday, Daniele Cernilli, wine and food journalist, together with Ruenza Santandrea, will present the book dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Consorzio entitled “Romagna, mosaic of life“. After, guests will be able to take part in a guided tasting of Sangiovese wines from the Subzones.
On Monday, there will be two master classes focusing on specific products. The first, “Albana DOCG: a question of style“, presented by Luca Matarazzo, journalist and AIS sommelier, will reveal all the facets of this wine through a guided tasting of Albana secco and passito wines. The second one, entitled “Romagna Sangiovese DOC, a contemporary classic“, will be presented by Äsa Johansson, a Swedish journalist.The sessionwill be devoted to Romagna’s best-known red wine, featuring a guided tasting of Romagna Sangiovese Superiore and Riserva DOC, and will be conducted in English.
On Tuesday, journalist Asa Johansson will return with the masterclass “Bianchi di Romagna: Ancient vocation, new realities” which will feature Romagna DOC and IGT whites.
